The first design meeting has occurred on the new parish hall. Participants included our architecture firm, HTK, and members of the Building Committee. Outcomes of it included: selecting the building location, good discussion on basic use and programs that need to be accommodated with the new parish hall, and refinement of project schedule.
Architects are working on these changes and looking for synergies in room scheduling and uses to help reduce the square footage and thus the overall cost of the building. Meeting again on January 18th to review these early revisions, project schedule, building elevation designs and furniture layouts for each room.
Architects will inventory the architectural stone elements and kitchen equipment from St. Joseph School because we plan to use them in the new building. Thank you for your continued support of and interest in this project!
